Just wondering if it’s tacky to have some champagne and OJ or wine as I thought it was customary to have a few alcoholic bevys at the shower! I don't think it's tacky.

We had a DIY mimosa bar at my cousins...and my MOH's we had a full service bar Mine's this Saturday, and it's an around-the-world theme - a few finger foods from different parts of the world in a few different rooms, paired with a beverage for people to sample. My BMs hosting aren't into it, so I doubt thought are planning to.I think wine or champagne is totally fine at a bridal shower. We're doing Italy, France, and Lebanon (all places I've lived/spent time/am from), and so that means wine, champagne, and arak (a horrible, really strong anise-flavored liqueur along the lines of ouzo, but worse). The color of the drink itself can be contributing to the bridal shower theme and the decorations you have picked. Reply Reply

Lots of people and I HATE being the center of attention. I’ve tried so many combinations of fruit, (feel free to try your own) but I always come back to these four! It's a Sunday afternoon so I'm just not sure if anyone will be offended if I pick up a couple items! That could get a bit tacky...I think I'm gonna need a glass of wine or two to calm my nervous of opening gifts at the shower!We had sangria and wine...i dont think its tacky, a keg would be tacky lol but spiked punch, wine, champagne, sangria, mimosas, those things are showerishI don't think it's a party without alcohol....kidding (sort of) But I don't think there's anything wrong with that AT ALL!
