Very happy with your work!Scotty Moore is a great subject, and it would be really good to have some more rockabilly, which also has some obvious blues links. There is no strumming pattern for this song yet. I just wanna take what I can use and inject some of my own ideas, like the master volume, resistance of the pots, the Bigsby and the N-tune tuner. The fact that they were recorded on tape is IMO not an essential part of the sound, and the guitar strings used is also not (They were a common string at the time). We have an official Mystery Train tab made by UG professional guitarists.
really enjoyed it. I used a standard vintage Fender Showman and two digital echoes from my PC.
One accurate version. I’ve included 2 versions of the MP3 jam track (one normal tempo and one slower).Brian, part 2 of the Scotty Moore lesson has disappeared. I never really got too deep into the rockabilly stuff, but I learned a lot here, shows you can indeed teach an old dog like me some new tricks. Am I right? With your clear instruction, now maybe I can!Enjoyed this lesson. Well done. I vote for more rockabilly. I appreciate the way you tied the chord voicings together. As you said, the slapback sound is essential to this style. Most any delay will do. I would highly recommend the Catlinbread Montivllian to anyone looking to buy. The can be had used for around $120.Funny, the way your shirtsleeves blended with the background, it looked like two hands playing the guitar at first.Excellent! A top 5 lesson! This was great with some more tools into the pocket.Great lesson Brian. When I listen to the way you play it, I can hear clearly a muted strum after the A chord. Isn’t this the same chord as a Dmaj7th chord, or does the Dmaj7th have to be barred?
Keep it coming!! A. 3.

His style of rockabilly guitar is influenced by jazz, country, and blues and you’ll hear a little of all 3 of those styles in this lesson. Clever little gizmo :-)My new preferred "weapon of choice" the Epiphone L5CES Custom :-)Some people who just happen to own EchoSonic amps or replicaâs of them have taken great offense to the conclusion of my experiment, this article and video (As expected). 2.
