Rowhurst had a semi-circular patio extending from the house when I moved in – this shows in old photographs and was definitely in place before 1932. Modern Leatherhead is roughly like an hour glass, with Pachenesham Manor the north bulb and Thorncroft Manor the south bulb, as it were.
